Enjoying the snow

I love the first real snowfall of the season. It always makes me giddy. And it's fun that Kayla shares that same feeling. I get out with the kids to play as often as possible, but it gets tough, cuz the babies only last like 10 minutes (on a good day) Still, it's always worth it:)

Christmas outfits

Merry Christmas everyone!! Anyone who is a parent knows just how difficult it is to get family pictures with all the kids actually looking at the camera. It has NEVER happened for me. I won't give up though:) Christmas time has all the extra pressure too, with the hope of giving out cards and photos with perfectly posed kids. So... here's my best attempt.
Grandma Campbell was wonderful, as always, and bought all the grandkids some beautiful Christmas outfits. The pictures don't do them justice. I know I'm biased, but they were all so gorgeous. I feel so lucky to have such awesome kiddos.

I'll keep trying...

Finally, another post!

I know, I know. It's been almost 3 months since the last post. I have no valid excuse except for the little parasite I have growing in my belly. Speaking of the parasite (aka-baby) we had our 20 week ultrasound. Everything looks fantastic! Ultrasounds never cease to amaze me. Our little one had a perfect little heart, all 10 fingers and 10 toes. It was so fun to see. Also, some of you know that my original plan was to not find out the baby's gender, so instead I had the tech write it on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. My plan was to just show the grandparents because I could trust them to keep a secret. But.... the very next day Nick and I got so excited that we caved in and looked. And SURPRISE!!! It's a girl! We are so happy and excited. Poor Nick and Charlie, though... Way to much estrogen floating around for them. They'll have to just stick together I guess:)
Here's a few pics. The twins and their crazy sleeping positions, and Kayla showing off how fast she's growing up...

Hello again...finally

Can I just say that we are LOVING our new house!! It's so great to have more space. Especially since our family will be growing yet again. Yep, we are (unexpectedly) expecting! This new little Campbell is set to arrive the end of April. And, yes we are 99% positive that there is just one baby. Nick was more than relieved to hear that news:)
Here's some more recent pictures...
I can't believe the kids are getting so big already. The twins definately aren't babies anymore:(

She's going as a ladybug this year for Halloween

This is what Charlie would look like after a vodka bottle

Is this my child or Buddha's??? Gotta love the belly:)

What a crazy last few months...

I know it's been forever since we've posted. Sorry:) We really have been pretty busy these last few months. In April we moved into our new house! Yeah! We love it! Kayla finally has her own room and can sleep in peace from the noisy twins. The twins are loving all the new space to be able to try out their crawling and almost walking skills. Our home is in the PERFECT location too. We are close to the Campbell grandparents and walking distance to the church, park and grocery store. We absolutely love it. Also, I started a new job. The kids daycare is great and we are lucky enough to have it next door. Simply being able to walk them over saves us about 30 minutes everyday having to load and unload them from carseats. Nick and I keep saying that we were meant to live in this house because everything is just falling into place so nicely.
We had some scares with Nick and Charlie again, unfortunately. But it has all turned out okay. Nick is still in the process of trying to find out what is going on with his stomach. He has a new GI doctor, who has been wonderful. We are just going to do everything we can to figure this out and get Nick healthy. Also, Charlie is doing great!! But we were a little nervous about a month ago because he had some lab values jump up. It turned out that it was just the flu, but with his condition, just about anything out of the ordinary puts me on high alert.
In June we had lots of family come to stay. It was so great to see them all. My sister and her hubby and 2 kids came and my brother from California and my parents. It had been years since we had all been in one place at the same time, so it was a bit like a family reunion.
We have been so lucky to have such great friends and family who are always willing to help. We appreciate it so much.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of these last few months.

Charlie's new mohawk

All together for the Scottish festival

Eating all that spagetti wore her out!

Lots of grandkids on their way to get sno-cones

Kayla used to hang on to his ears, now I guess the cheek and chin are good enough:)

Roberts family reunion
Charlie hanging out with Grandma
Hailey-Q
All 3 kids interested in the same thing at the same time! I wonder if that'll ever happen again...
We pulled up all of the laminate flooring so we could get carpet.
Hangin' out on the deck
This is before we first mowed our lawn. There were dandelions galore.
The twins loved it
It is getting increasingly difficlut to hold both twins. They are just so squirmy and HEAVY!
A new hiding place from Mom:)

Easter 2008

Easter was so fun this year. The weather was great, the kids had fun, and there was yummy food! Also, the kids got to try out their hawaii outfits for their grandparents.
The Campbell Clan +1
Feeling a bit timid, are we??
The twins doing everything in their power to not touch the grass:)

March pics

Cute kids!! (How can twins be so different?)
Enjoying time with Grandma and Dirk
The twinners keeping Dad from getting any shut-eye
Hmmm...
Isn't she gorgeous?
And grumpy
Two of her favorite people, Dora and Grandma
I love my kiddos!!
Nick and I have often let Kayla pick out her clothes to wear for the day, no matter how mismatched. She outdid herself today:)
Do I look worn-out?? I wonder why:)
Kayla loves to help! The twins are now for the most part eating all finger foods, which makes meal time a bit easier. Hailey loves anything not green and Charlie loves it all.
Kayla regressing...
This month has been so crazy... Four feet of snow one day and the next shorts and t-shirt weather.
Kayla loves the snow! We are excited for next winter when we can teach her how to do snowangels and build snowmen
Check out those lips! He is a Roberts boy through and through.
And here's our Campbell girl. Although her and I do have the same eye shape.
Kayla enjoying the sunshine and hanging out with "her babies"
